Yellow and Red - PDEC Wk#37

Happy Friday!

Are you having a great week?  It has been wonderful around here.  The weather is getting cooler ... by a degree or two, at least we are not in the triple digits any longer.  We are expecting rain ... sure wish it would hurry up ... hope it doesn't miss us.

It is time for a new challenge @ Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges.  Are you ready for some COLOR?
This week's question is:
What does the word SCHOOL make you think of?  Yellow School Buses?  Red Apples?
Theme:  Use Yellows and Reds on your project.

Our Sponsor this week is

Prize is any three items from the Squigglefly store.

Here is my project for this challenge:

Yes, I chose to make a Yellow School Bus with a Red frame.  I had an important story for this week.  My hubby is now a School Bus Driver.  He is really enjoying the elementary and high school children.  I am so proud of him.  He looks very dapper in his new uniform.  This was the perfect transition from being an OTR driver to working locally.  After many, many years in transportation he was ready for a change.

Here are the details:
Tag:  ELEGANT EDGES, Heart2-s, pg 46, cut @ 4.5" using Oblong and Shadow features.
Frame:  STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION, SclBus, pg 51, cut using Fit to Length (4.2") function and CardFrame feature.
School Bus:  STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION, SclBus, pg 51, cut @ 1.7" using SclBus and Layer.
Cardstock:  The Paper Company (Black, White, Red, Yellow and Lt Blue)
Color Medium:  Sukara (Jelly Roll Pen, White)
Adhesives:  Scotch (ATG) and EKSuccess (Zig 2 Way Glue Pen Fine Tip)

This was a ton of fun to make.  It was quick and easy ... once I got the hang of 'Fit to Length' again.  The Card Frame feature on STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION is based on the card sizes you use, so I had to put on my thinking cap for this one.
Now it is your turn to get our your tools and make a Yellow and Red project.

Toodles and Happy Crafting!
Belinda
