I have been having a great time playing with paper the last few days. Here are a few more of my Easter creations. I'll start with the Easter Lambs. I made this in several different color combos. Was just too much fun. I am enjoying my new edger punch, Fancy Flight by EK Success. I used it here to punch both sides of the paper for a great lace look. The ribbon was a Hobby Lobby find. I got a ton of different colors and patterns when they went on sale for 50% off. Just perfect for cards and scrapbooking. The cute little flowers on top of the card is from a set of foam glitter stickers that I found at our local Dollar Store. I got different color packs and wish I had gotten more. There were eight small stickers in two colors, five medium stickers in two different colors and four large stickers in a single color. I think this was a steal at $1.00/package.
The next cutie I also made in several in different colors. Unfortunately I only got a pic of this one. This is the first time I have used this cut from Create A Critter.
Next are more of my Easter Baskets. These are a little different from the first basket I showed earlier this week. The difference is how I used the baskets this time. I cut two baskets for each card, adhered the first basket directly to the paper, positioned the eggs and then adhered the top basket with foam tape. Another thing that is different is that I cut the handle from the top basket. I was much easier to use the foam tape. I also added a 'blinged' flower. The egg and flower stickers were also Hobby Lobby finds. The center egg in each of these baskets has 'bling' and embellishments. I got a pack of eight with four mini flowers for $1.00. I also got the other egg stickers at Hobby Lobby for $0.70/pack. There are 32 glittered stickers per package.
Everytime I turned around to do something on the computer Zach was up on the craft table. He just loves to lounge on top of my paper and die-cuts. Here is a pick of him doing just that.
He doesn't look so innocent here. In the next pic he is starting to lay his head down. Even thought I take a ton of pics of him he is still weary of the camera ... especially if the flash is operating.
This last pic is of Zach-In-The-Box. DH was unloading boxes and Zach took the opportunity to jump into a box. He was asked to vacate the box so DH could move it to the garage.
Isn't he just the cutest. I do have two other kitties. They are usually not around when I am crafting. Lucy was taking a nap in the living room and Sophie was on the master bed. Usually I have to move Lucy from the top of the printer. She is our 'copy cat.' Lucy regularly makes blank copies or turns off the printer altogether. I will try to get some pics of the girls so I can show them to you all.
