Happy Thursday!
It's time for the last Linky Party of the year with An Inky Situation. This week we are celebrating by creating TAGS ... just in time for Christmas gift giving. Join in on the fun and show us your TAGS!
Here are my TAGS for the Linky Party!
This is a pic of all the tags that I made. I used the Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags Bundle to make a bunch of tags.
This tag features the Pop & Place Apothecary tag punch out with a 1-1/4" Circle punch out. The flags on either side are stamped images of Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp set 'Have the Merriest Christmas' that were cut from Whisper White cardstock.
Tag #2 is half of the Top Note punch out with a stamped image of Christmas Tagables 'Have the Merriest Christmas' that was cut from Whisper White cardstock. I 'aged' this tag by sponging on Crumb Cake ink. I used one of the three 'to'/'from' combos from the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp set.
Tag #3 uses four of the punch outs from the Pop & Place kit: Artisan Label punch, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits and Window Frames Collection. Stamps are from the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp set.
Tag #4 uses the Bread Tag punch out and the Artisan label punch out from the Pop & Place Tag kit. Stamp set used was Christmas Tagables stamp set.
The last tag in this series is the other half of the Top Note tag. I used the template left from the punch out of the Hexagon to create a hexagon from Whisper White to stamp the Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas message from Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp set. I freehand cut a larger hexagon to add a bit more color to the mix. I also used the To and From arrow stamps from the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp set.
I had a ton of fun making these tags. The Pop & Place Tag Kit comes with 70 + shapes to use. Following is a complete list of items used.
Stampin' Up Supplies used were:

AIS Linky Party #21 - Stripes
Happy Thursday,
So have you had snow, ice, rain or all three in the last week? Well the ice is still here in my yard and still continuing to thaw. I think it will all be gone after today. It was beautiful, but a mess for driving.
Welcome to another week at An Inky Situation. This is Linky Party #21 and we are working with STRIPES this week. Join in on the fun and post a project at An Inky Situation.
Here are my stripes for this week's offering:
This was a fun challenge for me. It went very quickly. Didn't hurt that I was playing around with some new 'toys'.
Stampin' Up! products used:
Cardstock: Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler
Patterned Paper: Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack
Tags: Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags
Stamps: Wishing You Clear-Mount Stamp Set and Christmas Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set
Ink: Old Olive Stampin' Pad
Fibers: Whisper White Baker's Twine
Embellishments: Regals Candy Dots
Tools: Circles Collection Framelits Dies
Adhesive: Stampin' Dimensionals
Shop with me HERE!
Non-Stampin' Up! products used:
Adhesives: ATG and Ultra Thin Glue Dots
I am loving working with the Stampin' Dimensionals. I have used many different types of foam dimensional products. Some are too tall and you worry about them going through the mail, some are too small and you have to use a ton of them. In the past I preferred to work with foam tape because I got dimension on my cards without all of the BULK. Well, I think I am LOVING Stampin' Dimensionals even more because of the versatility of these small adhesive wonders. If you haven't worked with them I urge you to get some and try them out.
Thanks for stopping by.

"Baby, it's Cold Outside!!!"
Happy Monday,
Hubby and I have been snuggling to stay warm in our cozy home this past weekend. Most of the nation is covered in snow or ice. Here in North Texas we have been indoors due to icy roads. There has been about 1" of ice covering most surfaces (roadways, bridges, etc.) My mom and sister were without power for about 36 hours. They too were iced in as well. Here are a few pictures I took Friday morning.
This picture depicts the leaves that are frozen to the roof! Can you see the ice? Most of the leaves on this tree are still green. Now they will turn brown after the thaw and not give us a pretty turning of the leaves. Most of our trees are Live Oaks so they just shed brown leaves in the spring and not lose all of their leaves in the fall. We only have two elm trees that create our fall foliage.
The ice is beautiful, but so treacherous. Hubby has been home since the schools are closed. I was glad to have the extra days with him.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and was able to share some snuggle time with your honey. Hopefully we will thaw out a bit more today and be able to get back to a normal schedule. Our mailperson will have a load of mail for us on Tuesday (first day of mail service since Thursday) when they finally make the rounds.
Have a happy and crafty day.
Blessings,
Belinda

There has been about 1" of ice covering most surfaces (roadways, bridges, etc.) My mom and sister were without power for about 36 hours. They too were iced in as well. Here are a few pictures I took Friday morning.
This picture is just outside my garage. As you can see the road has a slight incline.
We live just below the highest point in the DFW Metroplex. Our neighbor just to the right of this picture is at the highest point.
This is a view of our side yard and the junction of the street beside our home and the street in front of our home. At the stop sign it is pretty level. Just north of the stop sign (left of the picture) the street starts a decline down the rest of the block. With this ice if we had left our home we would not be able to return until the thaw. The folks who owned the home before us made that mistake in 1993 and could not return except on foot and left their truck in a vacant lot down the road.
This picture shows part of our front yard. Our area does not have curbs or sidewalks around the streets. It is very much like a country lane in our area. That is part of the appeal. However, we have drainage ditches in around the homes to take advantage of the city drainage system. We can not have a sidewalk to our mailbox so the previous owners installed a wooden bridge that connects the sidewalk from the front door to the street. Our flag is frozen in the state pictured. It did not thaw out until late Sunday afternoon. Amazingly there was not accumulation of ice on the bridge handrails but everywhere else. I found that quite humorous.

I had a great time working with this challenge. I had new toys (stamps, ink and paper) to play with this week. It was a hard decision as to what to create first. Here are the deets on this Cherry Cobbler creation.
