Here is my creation for this week:
I CASE'd this from Deb Valder.  It was super fast and easy to make.  I chose to work with the middle horizontal line of the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge grid.   That being said, I used a strawberry pink, embossed with Spring Flowers embossing folder and used a birthday theme.

Here are more details:
Card size:  A2 - 8.50" x 5.50", scored and folded at 4.25"
Long piece - Blackberry Bliss 5.125" x 2.125"; Raspberry Ripple 5" x 2"
Rectangular piece - Blackberry Bliss 3.125" x 3.625"; Raspberry Ripple 3" x 3.50"
Stamp set:  Endless Birthday
Card stock:  Blackberry Bliss, Raspberry Ripple (retired) and Whisper White
Ink:  Blackberry Bliss
Misc:  Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Blackberry Bliss Thick Baker's Twine (retired), Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals

I tied the Blackberry Bliss Thick Baker's Twine around the rectangular piece to mimic ribbon around a gift in keeping with the Birthday theme for this card.  Again, this was a very quick and easy card.

Now it is your turn to create a project using the Tic-Tac-Toe chart.  Looking forward to seeing your creations at the Cuttlebug Mania challenge site.

You're a Gem

Happy Monday,

Hope you had a great time during our Independence Celebration this past weekend.  The weather was very cooperative for picnics, parades, cookouts, baseball and fireworks!!!  This time of year is bitter sweet for me because my late father was a July 2nd baby.  Every year we graced him with a Red, White and Blue cake, sometimes going so far as to add sparklers instead of candles.  He was my Yankee Doodle Dandy!  He served our nation in the Navy and I am truly thankful for him as a father, friend and patriot.

I got busy this morning looking for a challenge or two to enter as I was itching to work at my craft desk.  See below at the challenges I found … you may want to join in on the fun too!  Here is my card:

Here are the details:
Stamp set:  Lovely Amazing You and Paper Pumpkin Sew You
Card stock:  Bermuda Bay, Whisper White and Stacked with Love (retired)
Ink:  Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral
Misc:  Squares Collection Framelits Dies (used #5), Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Window Sheet (from Paper Pumpkin Sew You), Frosted Sequins, Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, SNAIL adhesive and 3M Foam Tape

CASE-ing Christmas in August

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome to the August CASE-ing Christmas Challenge.  I am very excited as this is my first post with the CASE-ing Christmas Design Team.  At CASE-ing Christmas Challenge we provide a card for you to CASE (Copy And Share Everything).  Here is my take on this month's inspiration.

Here is our inspiration card by Steph:

Here are the details on my card, all products used are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise stated:
Stamp Set:  Endless Wishes
Card Stock:  Pool Party and Whisper White
Ink:  Lost Lagoon
Misc:  Scallop Edge Punch (retired), Frosted Sequins (retired), 3/8" Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin Ribbon (retired), Snowflakes Embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and SNAIL adhesive

This card was very simple to put together.  I love this embossing folder ... of course I love the idea of SNOW ... don't really like dealing with snow, ice or colder temps.  Living in Texas I don't see much snow ... we have more ice than snow.  However, I do love me some ICED tea and I do have a collection of Snowmen, crystal icicles, glittery snowflakes, etc.  I love sparkly things and generally that is what happens when the sun glints off the snow.

Now it is time for you to CASE Steph's card and link it back to CASE-ing Christmas Challenge.  You have until 11:55pm CST on the last day of the month.  Also, each month, we will be celebrating CHRISTMAS on the 25th by doing a random giveaway to one luck participant!  We will have a variety of prizes to give out, but you MUST be linked up by the 23rd of each month in order to be entered into the drawing!  So, take another look at Steph's card and give CASE-ing a go.

Well, I have been wordy enough this time round.  So, I am headed back to the craft table to begin another creation.

Blessings and Happy Crafting,
Belinda
