Hello all,

Got a late start to the day.  I just couldn't get to sleep last night.  Sometimes I get my days and night mixed up and have quite the challenge getting back on track.  Oh well, it will pass quickly enough.  At least I have plenty of time to plan new cards.

This card has been running around in my head for a few days now.  I am really enjoying my new stamp set Endless Wishes.  I just love the snowflakes and there are so many words to build phrases.

This was another quick and easy card to produce.  Another Christmas card for the list.

Christmas Greetings

Me again with another Christmas card.  This is a new stamp set, Endless Wishes, for me and I am having fun playing around with this set.

I love snowflakes and snowmen.  I have a collection of snowmen that stay out most of the year.  They look cuddly.  However, none of the snowmen (icemen) I have made ever looked cuddly.  Where I live we don't get snow suitable for snowmen making, we get mostly ice ... oh well!

Stamp set:  Endless Wishes (#136829)
Paper:  Whisper White (#100730) and Gold Foil (#132622)
Ink:  Old Olive (#126953), Pear Pizzazz (#131180) and Real Red (#126949)
Misc:  File Tabs Edgelits (#133729)

Christmas Banners

Hello my Crafty Friends,

Happy Wednesday!  It is bright and cold here in North Texas.  The North wind has been blowing for two days now.  Maybe tomorrow I will have a chance to acclimate a bit more.  Monday night our temperature dropped more than 30 degrees.  It was quite a shock.  Normally we get a few days to acclimate, but not this year.  Well, let's get on to the creativity!

I used a sketch from Operation Write Home (it will be shown below).  I really liked the sketch and combined it with a Red and White challenge.
I think it turned out really well.

Stamp set:  Wishing You (retired)
Paper:  Real Red (#102482), Whisper White (#100730) and Fresh Prints (retired)

Thankful For You

Wow!  This card was a breeze to put together.  I CASE'd it from the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog, page 72.  I used a different stamp and punched out my hearts instead of stamping them.  I spent the most time choosing the colors with my Color Coach (#130118).  The Color Coach is a terrific tool.  I use it when I can't decide which colors to use for a design.

I am really pleased with the outcome on this card.  The Bermuda Bay is showing up a little light in this pic.  I really love how the Cajun Craze Classic Ink looks on the Cajun Craze cardstock.

Stamp set:  October 2014 My Paper Pumpkin (click HERE to find out more about My Paper Pumpkin)
Paper:  Bermuda Bay (#131197), Cajun Craze (#119684), Crushed Curry (#131199), Sahara Sand (#121043) and Soft Suede (#115318)
Ink:  Cajun Craze (#126965)
Misc:  Small Heart punch (retired - substitute heart from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack #133787)

This was a quick and easy card to put together.

A Little Holiday Cheer!

It's me again.  I have another Christmas card.  The colors are non-traditional, quite a change for me.  That is why we work with challenges, to stretch our creative boundaries.

I had a hard time getting the stamping to show up.  In person it looks great, but the flash may have bounced off the Very Vanilla to obscure the Baked Brown Sugar ... oh well.

I also played around with the scalloped circle of the Circle Collection Framelits.  I used it to make the Christmas Tree.  I had seen this done with scalloped punches and thought I would try it too.  To give it a bit of depth, I sponged with edges with Crumb Cake.

Stamp set:  Christmas Tagables (Photopolymer #134623)
Paper:  Early Espresso (#119686) and Very Vanilla (#101650)
Ink:  Baked Brown Sugar (#131174) and Crumb Cake (#126975)
Misc:  Bitty Banner Framelits (#129267), Circle Collection Framelits (#130911), Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

This card is entered in the following challenge(s):
Christmas Card Challenges - No Embellishments
Merry Monday Christmas - #133 Rustic Christmas

I had fun playing around with this card.  I hope challenges inspire you to play around with paper and ink too!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  I appreciate your coming by and hope you will leave me a comment letting me know what you think of my little card.

Just a reminder ... I am in a contest to raise my 2014 November sales from that of last year.  This would really help me get my 'new' year started off with a bang.  Click HERE to shop with me 24/7.  If you want to go to a direct link to a product, click on any of the item #'s above.  Thanks for you consideration!

My, my, my, this week has flown.  It has been a good week.  Full of accomplishments and that is always a good thing!

I am playing around with Bootiful Occasions stamp set again.  This time I made a Christmas card.  I just love the 'fur' on this fashionable boot.  Here's to 'Warm Winter Wishes.'

Happy Big Day!

Hello Crafters,

Can you believe that it is Thursday?  I sure am amazed at how the time flies at the crafting table.  I have been playing with ink and paper for quite a few hours today.  It has been good to just play around and not have a deadline in mind.

I made two cards with the Chalk Talk stamp set and Framelits.  I really enjoy working with the All Abloom DSP stack.  It is so versatile and pretty.  Just the thing for today's cards.

I love the color pink, so Blushing Bride made the perfect base for this arrangement.  The Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine really makes it pop!

Stamp set:  Chalk Talk (Wood #130631 or Clear #130634)
Paper:  Blushing Bride (#131198), Mossy Meadow (#133676), Pistachio Pudding (#131294), Strawberry Slush (#131295), Whisper White (#100730) and All Abloom (#133703)
Ink:  Pistachio Pudding (#131177) and Strawberry Slush (#131178), 2013-2015 In Color Stampin' Write Markers (Strawberry Slush) (#131260)
Misc:  Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983), Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine (#135637), Banner punch (#133519) and Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

I had stamped the centerpiece of this card and knew that I had to work with Island Indigo and Pistachio Pudding.  This was just too much fun playing around with all the colors and shapes.

Stamp set:  Chalk Talk (Wood #130631 or Clear #130634)
Paper:  Daffodil Delight (#119683), Island Indigo (#122923), Pistachio Pudding (#131294), Whisper White (#100730) and All Abloom (#133703)
Ink:  Island Indigo (#126986)
Misc:  Chalk Talk Framelits (#129983), Hearts a Flutter Framelits (#130159), Banner punch (#133519), Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and up-cycled ribbon

Happy Happy Happy!

Hello Crafters,

I hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.  It has been drizzly and damp here.  I stayed in and recovered from all the going of the last few days.  It was nice to just relax a little.

I cooked tonight ... SHOCK!!!  I usually 'nuke' most things or cook soup or something that can simmer on the stove with little to no interaction.  I pulled some spices down (chili powder, ground cumin, cinnamon, garlic, salt and pepper) and patted it onto skinless, boneless chicken breasts and baked them.  I know it is not much as far as cooking goes.  It was delicious.  I 'nuked' some brussels sprouts and reheated some beans to round out the meal.  Well, enough of that ... on to the good stuff.  No, not dessert!  A new card.

Another Christmas card for the box.  I used a sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!  It was a really easy card.  I love the little flowers.  They remind me of poinsettias.

Stamp set:  Endless Birthday Wishes (Photopolymer #137553) and Petite Petals (Wood #133152 or Clear #133155)
Paper:  Chocolate Chip (#102128), Pear Pizzazz (#131201), Real Red (#102482), Whisper White (#100730) and Flowerpot DSP (#133698)
Ink:  Real Red (#126949)
Misc:  Petite Petal punch (#133322), Regal Candy Dots (#130932), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) and Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

This card is entered in the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - #253 - Anything Goes
My Perfect Life - Always Christmas Card - Week 43
CAS(E) this Sketch! - #98

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  Hope you enjoyed my latest card.  If you are interested in the products used in this card please click HERE to shop with me 24/7.  Or, you can click on any of the item #'s above for a direct link.  Would love to have you as a customer!  BTW, I am in a contest to raise my November 2014 sales over my November 2013 sales.  I would love to win this one and start my 'new' year off with a bang!  Thanks so much for your consideration.

Belinda

Happy 'Boot' Day Patchwork

Happy Tuesday,

Did you go vote today?  I hope you exercised your Constitutional Right!  It was a rainy, stormy day here in North Texas.  I am so thankful for the rain.  Thank you Lord for providing for us.

My sister came by to help me with a ride to the market.  We had a good time gathering our groceries and visiting with people at the store.  My cupboard is now stocked up with soup and soup ingredients for the cooler weather.

I wanted to participate in a challenge that required a patchwork element for today and came up with this card with the aid of a sketch from Create with Connie & Mary (see below for sketch).

I CASE'd the patchwork element.  It was very easy to recreate and quick relaxing, much like real quilting.  Here are the details:

Stamp set:  Bootiful Occasions (Wood #131967, Clear #126597)
Paper:  Sahara Sand (#121043), Whisper White (#100730) and Moonlight DSP (#133701)
Ink:  Blackberry Bliss (#133642), Hello Honey (#133643) and Baked Brown Sugar (#131174)
Misc:  Hexagon punch (#130919), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755), Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and Rhinestones from stash

This card is entered in the following challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks - #218 - Anything Goes
Creative Knockouts - #61 - Patchwork Pretties
Create with Connie & Mary - CCMC327
CCMC327

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  If you would like to purchase any of the featured products click HERE to shop with me 24/7.  Or, click on any of the item #'s above for a direct link.

Have a terrific day.
